Converge

TRIANGLE PARK PAVILION

For this project we were asked to design a pavilion to be located in Triangle Park in Lexington, Kentucky. 

The form of my pavilion was generated from an idea of "convergence".  the shape of the pavilion converges from a wider base to a much smaller point.  People passing through the pavilion will also "converge" into a smaller point. The idea of a park as a gathering space for many people was the inspiration for this idea.
